Our Designer has over 10 years experience in Costume Design and Construction. Katherine worked with the Haluska Design Company for three years as a seamstress and associate designer, creating gowns and apparel for brides, actresses and debutantes.

Katherine has designed costumes for The Children’s Theater of Salt Lake, with such productions as “Hans Brinker and the Silver Skates”, “The Frog Prince”, “Robin Hood”, “The Phantom of the Opera”, and “Murder on the Nile.” She graduated from Utah State University with degrees in Theater and French.

“I have always been intrigued by the art of clothing and textiles, and how they can create a mood or literally transform a person into another character. From movies to the stage, from a wedding day to everyday, clothing and costume is such an important part of our lives. What I hope to do is create a costume that will express a feeling, whether that costume is for a prom, a solo dance performance, a renaissance fair, or a wedding.”
